TradersPost Alternative 2026: Schwab Support, Pricing, and When TradersPost Is the Right Tool

Trader at a multi-monitor desk running automated trading software connected to a brokerage API, representing a TradersPost alternative

TradersPost is one of the best-known ways to turn a TradingView alert into a real order, and if you already run a strategy in TradingView it may be exactly what you need. The reason people go looking for a TradersPost alternative is usually one of two things: their money is at Charles Schwab, which TradersPost does not connect to today, or they do not have a strategy of their own to send it signals. This comparison covers both honestly, with TradersPost's own pages checked on September 29, 2026, and it says plainly where TradersPost is the better tool.

TradersPost is an execution bridge: you bring the signals, it places the orders at your broker. JorgAI is the strategy and the execution: the AI decides what to buy inside rules you set, in your existing account. They solve different problems, and only one of them connects to Schwab today.

What TradersPost actually does

TradersPost's model, in its own words, is "Fire a webhook from any signal source" and let orders "execute across all connected brokers." You define entry and exit rules somewhere else, most often TradingView or TrendSpider, or in a JSON template, and TradersPost receives the alert and submits the order to one or more broker accounts you have linked. It advertises no coding required and says "Most traders are live in under 3 minutes." The strength is fan-out: one signal can hit several accounts at once, including paper accounts, and the broker list is long. As of September 2026 it lists 17 supported connections, including tastytrade, Tradier, Interactive Brokers, Tradovate, TradeStation, Robinhood, Webull, E*TRADE, and the major crypto exchanges. See TradersPost's broker page for the current list.

What it does not do is decide what to trade. If you do not already have a signal source, TradersPost has nothing to route.

Does TradersPost work with Charles Schwab?

Not today. Schwab is not on TradersPost's supported list. It appears under "Connection Wait Lists," and TradersPost's Schwab page is headed "Schwab Automated Trading Coming Soon" with a form to "be added to the Schwab wait list." TradersPost may well ship it; Schwab's Trader API supports third-party OAuth apps and we run one. But if your account is at Schwab, including an account that migrated from TD Ameritrade, TradersPost cannot place a trade in it as of this writing. That single fact decides the comparison for most Schwab users, so it is worth stating before anything about features.

JorgAI connects to Schwab now, through Schwab's own OAuth sign-in, and handles the parts that make Schwab different from other brokers: the 7-day re-authorization, whole-share order sizing, and bracket orders placed at Schwab. The full mechanics are in our definitive guide to automating a Schwab account, and the connection walkthrough is on the Schwab page.

TradersPost vs JorgAI: feature by feature

Where the strategy comes from

  • TradersPost: from you. TradingView or TrendSpider alerts, or your own JSON. It is a routing layer.
  • JorgAI: from the AI. It scans during market hours, scores setups, and enters within your rules: stop-loss, take-profit, position size, daily loss brake, maximum trades per day, maximum price per share, and an optional approval step for every buy. You never write a strategy or an alert.

Brokers

  • TradersPost: 17 connections as of September 2026, spanning stocks, options, futures, and crypto exchanges. Schwab is on the wait list.
  • JorgAI: Charles Schwab (including migrated TD Ameritrade accounts), tastytrade, and Tradier, with the current list at jorgai.com/brokers. Stocks and ETFs; no options or futures. If you trade futures, TradersPost is the tool and JorgAI is not.

Where your money lives

  • Both platforms are non-custodial. Your funds stay at your broker in both cases, and neither holds your money. On JorgAI the broker connection has no withdrawal permissions; check the permission scope TradersPost requests for your specific broker, since it varies by connection. Our guide to connecting a bot to your brokerage safely lists the questions to ask any platform.

Pricing

  • TradersPost: a Free plan with a 7-day trial (manual order submission on live accounts, automated submission on paper). Paid plans, quoted per month billed yearly: Starter $41.65 (1 live account, 1 asset class), Basic $84.15 (2 live accounts, 2 asset classes), Pro $169.15 (3 live accounts, 3 asset classes), Premium $254.15 (6 live accounts, all asset classes). TradersPost says yearly billing saves 15%, which puts the monthly-billed rates around $49, $99, $199, and $299. Extra live accounts are $10 a month each. Current figures at TradersPost pricing.
  • JorgAI: Free plan (dashboard, watchlists, live view of JorgAI's simulated account; no auto-trader), Starter $14.99 a month or $11.99 billed annually with the auto-trader included, Pro $99, Elite $199. Every paid plan starts with a 7-day trial and no credit card. Details at jorgai.com/pricing. Remember that a TradingView plan is a separate cost if that is where your TradersPost signals come from.

Multiple accounts

  • TradersPost: built for it. One signal to many accounts is the core feature, with per-account pricing.
  • JorgAI: multiple trading profiles, each with its own broker connection and its own rules, but the AI trades each profile on its own settings rather than mirroring one signal across accounts.

Transparency

  • TradersPost: you see the orders it sent and their status. The reasoning lives in your strategy, not in TradersPost.
  • JorgAI: a plain-language activity log for every scan, every skip with its reason, and every trade, because the decision is made inside the platform and you need to see why.

Why Schwab is harder to add than it looks

It is fair to ask why a platform with 17 brokers still has Schwab on a wait list. Having built and run a Schwab integration, we can say the answer is not laziness. Schwab's Trader API requires an OAuth app with a developer review rather than self-serve keys, its refresh token expires every 7 days with no way to extend it, it accepts whole-share orders only, and its position data does not report shares reserved by your own resting bracket orders, which breaks the obvious way of liquidating a position. Each of those is a support problem waiting to happen for a routing platform whose users expect an order to go through the moment TradingView fires. We wrote up all of it, including the failures, in our Schwab automation guide. Until TradersPost ships its connection, a Schwab account needs a platform that already handles those details.

On the TradersPost wait list with a Schwab account? What to do meanwhile

If your strategy lives in TradingView, thinkorswim's own conditional orders and brackets can automate exits on positions you enter yourself; our piece on what thinkorswim can automate and where it stops draws that line. If what you actually want is trades placed for you inside limits you set, connect Schwab to JorgAI and run it against a free brokerage paper account first, since Schwab itself has no paper API. Either way, keep your money where it is; nothing here requires moving it.

Where TradersPost genuinely wins

Three cases. If you already have a strategy in TradingView or TrendSpider and want it executed automatically, TradersPost is the purpose-built bridge and JorgAI does not accept external signals at all. If you trade futures, options, or on a crypto exchange, TradersPost covers those and JorgAI does not. And if you need one signal fanned out across several accounts, including prop-firm or paper accounts, TradersPost's whole design is that.

Where JorgAI wins

If your account is at Schwab, JorgAI works today and TradersPost is a wait list. If you do not have a strategy and do not want to build one, JorgAI supplies the decisions and you supply the limits. And if you want to see a written reason for every trade and every skipped trade, that log is the product. The price difference is real too: the cheapest way to run JorgAI's auto-trader is $11.99 a month billed annually against TradersPost's $41.65 plus whatever your signal source costs. Our roundup of Schwab-compatible bots puts JorgAI next to the other options for that account specifically.

Which should you choose?

Choose TradersPost if you have your own signals and a supported broker, especially for futures or multi-account execution. Choose JorgAI if your money is at Schwab, tastytrade, or Tradier and you want an AI to trade stocks inside rules you set, with no strategy to build. If you use tastytrade or Tradier, both platforms connect and the question is purely whether you want to bring signals or have the AI generate them; our tastytrade guide and Tradier guide cover the JorgAI side. Frequently asked questions

Does TradersPost support Charles Schwab?

Not as of September 2026. Schwab is listed under TradersPost's connection wait lists, and its Schwab page says "Coming Soon" with an email sign-up. Check TradersPost's broker page for the current status.

Is TradersPost a trading bot?

Not on its own. It executes signals you send it from TradingView, TrendSpider, or a JSON webhook. The strategy has to come from you. JorgAI is the opposite: the AI generates the trades and you set the limits.

Can I use JorgAI with TradingView alerts?

No. JorgAI does not accept external signals or webhooks. If routing your own TradingView strategy is the goal, TradersPost is the right category of tool.

Which is cheaper?

JorgAI's auto-trader starts at $14.99 a month, or $11.99 billed annually. TradersPost's cheapest paid plan is $41.65 a month billed yearly (about $49 monthly), and a TradingView subscription is usually a separate cost on top.

Does either platform hold my money?

No. Both connect to a brokerage account you already own. Funds stay at your broker.
