Trading tab
The Trading tab configures default behavior for all trades and auto-trading.
Toggles:
- Day Trading: Enable/disable day trading (requires $25k+ equity for PDT qualification)
- Trade Confirmation: Require a confirmation step before every order
- Auto-Trading: Master switch for automated trading
Auto-Trading Configuration:
- Min confidence: Only trade on predictions at or above this confidence level (default: 70%)
- Qty per trade: How many shares/coins to buy per auto-trade (default: 1)
- Auto-trade scope: "Watchlist Only" or "AI Picks" - controls which symbols are considered
- Default trailing stop %: Trailing stop applied to all auto-trades
- Max daily loss: Circuit breaker threshold to pause auto-trading
- Smart sizing: Enable, set base %, and max % for confidence-based position sizing
Limits:
- Daily spend limit, max open positions, max new positions per day
Default targets:
- Default profit target (% or $) - applied to all new positions
- Default stop loss (% or $) - applied to all new positions
- Default trailing stop % - trailing stop for all new positions
- Min hold hours - hold period before first-profit selling kicks in
All defaults can be overridden on a per-trade basis from the Trading page.
Important: Changing profit target or stop-loss in settings instantly updates ALL open positions and trades - no more stale targets on existing positions.
Save behavior: All sections use Save buttons with confirmation modals. Toggle your settings, then click Save to apply. Invalid values show red inline errors and the Save button is disabled until fixed.
