AI Personality tab

The AI Personality tab customizes how the AI selects and evaluates stocks for predictions and auto-trading.

Asset classes: Choose stocks only, crypto only, or both.

Risk tolerance: Conservative (stable, large-cap), Moderate (balanced), or Aggressive (high-growth, volatile).

Price range: Filter by Penny (<$5), Low ($5-$50), Mid ($50-$200), High ($200+), or Any.

Sector Focus: Select specific sectors (Technology, Healthcare, Energy, etc.) or leave empty for all sectors. This filters the symbols the AI *discovers* in AI Free Range mode - your watchlist symbols are always included regardless of sector, because adding a symbol yourself is a stronger signal than a category preference. In Watchlist Only mode this setting has no effect, and the picker is disabled with a note explaining why. If your sector selection is so narrow that no discovered symbols qualify on a given day, the activity feed tells you rather than leaving the day unexplained. How many sectors you can select depends on your plan: Starter up to 3, Pro up to 8, Elite unlimited. Sector Focus is saved per trading profile, so each profile can focus on different sectors.

Trade style: Momentum (trend-following), Value (undervalued assets), Balanced (mix), or Contrarian (against the crowd).

Max price per share: Optional hard cap on per-share price for auto-trades. If the cap falls below the floor of your selected price range, the two settings cancel each other out - that combination cannot be saved, and if it already exists a yellow warning appears on both settings and in the notification bell until you fix it.

Prefer high volume: Prioritize liquid assets with above-average trading volume.

Estimated Auto-Trader Activity meter:

At the bottom of the Trading and AI Personality tabs, a meter estimates how often your current settings allow the auto-trader to act. It updates live as you adjust settings, before you even save, and weighs every dial: confidence threshold, daily trade caps, Watchlist Only vs Free Range, sector selection, price range, max price per share, asset classes, risk tolerance, market bias, volume preference, day trading, and the buy-approval setting. It also names the settings limiting you the most (for example "high 85% confidence threshold" or "only 2 sectors selected"), so if the auto-trader seems quiet you can see exactly why. It reads 0% when auto-trading is off or when your settings contradict each other. It is a relative estimate only - not a promise of trade frequency or results.
