How JorgAI connects to Crypto.com
- 1Open a Crypto.com Exchange account. The Exchange is separate from the Crypto.com App, and the API lives on the Exchange, so an App-only account is not enough.
- 2Enable two-factor authentication on the Exchange login. Keys cannot be created without it.
- 3In the Exchange, click your profile, then Manage Account, then API Management, and create a new API key.
- 4Turn on the Trading permission and leave Withdrawal off.
- 5Add JorgAI's address 32.195.173.11 to the key's IP whitelist. Crypto.com only lets a trading key work from whitelisted addresses, and this is the fixed address every JorgAI order leaves from.
- 6In JorgAI, go to Settings, then Broker, pick the Crypto.com tile, paste the API key and the secret key, and click Connect. JorgAI checks the key with a balance read before saving it.

Your keys are encrypted before they are stored, never logged, and never returned by any JorgAI screen or API. Because the key has no withdrawal permission, JorgAI cannot move funds out of your account. You can revoke the key in Crypto.com's API Management at any time, and JorgAI will tell you if the key stops working.

What to know before you connect.
The Exchange and the App are two different balances
A deposit made in the Crypto.com App stays in the App. The API key you create belongs to the Exchange and only sees the Exchange balance. Use Transfer to Exchange in the App, or deposit straight into the Exchange, before connecting.
Trading keys need the IP whitelist
A key without JorgAI's address 32.195.173.11 on its whitelist can read your balance but every order is rejected. Add the address when you create the key, or edit the key afterwards and reconnect.
Stops live on JorgAI's servers
Crypto.com's API does not take stop orders, so JorgAI's monitors watch each position and send the exit order themselves when your stop, trailing stop or profit target is reached. A protective exit that misses as a limit order is re-sent at market so a falling price cannot leave the position open.
Crypto only, and the profile knows it
This connection trades spot crypto pairs. When you connect it, the profile's asset classes switch to Crypto Only and the stock scans do not run on it. Keep a stock broker on another profile if you trade both.
You keep every control
Auto-trading is off until you switch it on. Stop-loss, daily loss brake, position sizing, total exposure limits and aggressiveness are all yours to set and change, and you can pause in one click.

Why does Crypto.com need an IP whitelist?
Crypto.com only allows a trading key to be used from addresses on its whitelist. JorgAI sends every order from one fixed address, 32.195.173.11, so you add that address once when you create the key.

No. You create the key with trading permission only and withdrawal permission off, so the connection can read balances and place trades and nothing else.
