Trading discipline, automated
An app that stops revenge trading before the next order
JorgAI is auto-trading software that runs inside your own brokerage account and enforces the rules you set: a daily loss brake that pauses buying once the day's realized losses reach your limit, caps on new positions and spending per day, exits attached to every trade at entry, and an approval mode that holds each buy until you say yes. You decide the numbers once. The software holds them on the afternoon you would not.
Why a rule works where willpower does not
Revenge trading is a decision made at the worst possible moment: right after a loss, with the urge to make it back right now. Advice to stay disciplined asks the most of you exactly when you have the least. A rule set in advance does not ask anything of you in that moment. It has already acted.
That is the whole design of these controls. Each one removes a specific next step the revenge trade needs, and each one is decided when you are calm.
The controls, in the product's own words
These are the settings as they appear in JorgAI. Each one says what it does mechanically and which part of the revenge cycle it removes. The values are yours to choose; none of this is a recommendation.
Setting
Max Daily Loss
Once the day's realized losses reach the dollar amount you set, auto-trading pauses until the next session. Nothing else is bought that day.
What it removes: The make-it-back-now trade. The session ends at your number, not at the point where the loss finally feels like enough.
Setting
Max New Positions / Day
A cap on how many brand-new positions can be opened in one day. Once it is reached, new entries wait for tomorrow.
What it removes: The string of entries that follows a loss. One bad trade cannot turn into six.
Setting
Daily Spend Limit
The most that can be spent on buys in one day, per profile. Sells never count against it.
What it removes: Doubling down. The dollars available for the day are decided before the day starts.
Setting
Max $ Per Auto-Trade
A dollar ceiling on any single automated order, applied after sizing.
What it removes: The oversized trade meant to recover a small loss in one shot.
Setting
Default Stop Loss and Profit Target
Both are attached to every automated trade at entry and executed on their own. Changing them in Settings updates open positions.
What it removes: Moving the stop. The exit is decided when you are calm, not when the position is against you.
Setting
Approve Each Auto-Trade Buy
Every proposed buy is sent to you by email and notification and waits for your yes. Sells, stop-losses and trailing stops still run immediately.
What it removes: Acting on impulse. A buy you did not approve does not happen, and a request you ignore expires.
Setting
Min Hold Before Sell
Hours a position must be held before a profit-target sell can trigger. Stop-losses still fire immediately.
What it removes: Churning in and out of the same name after a loss.
Setting
Enable Auto-Trading
One switch. Off means no automated orders are placed for the profile.
What it removes: Nothing by itself, but it is the pause button, and it is one tap away at all times.
Every setting is defined in the settings glossary.
How it works
- Connect your own brokerage account. Alpaca, Charles Schwab, Tradier or tastytrade, through the broker's official sign-in. Your money stays where it is; JorgAI can place trades under your rules and cannot move funds out.
- Set the limits once. A two-minute setup quiz turns a daily loss brake, position caps, a stop and a target into your settings. Change any of them whenever you like.
- Let the software hold them. When a limit is reached the activity feed says so in plain words, and nothing else is bought until the limit resets. One switch pauses everything.
Start with a free brokerage paper account if you want to watch a week of the rules at work before connecting a live account.
Done for you
Set the daily loss brake once. It does the rest.
The daily loss brake, the caps per day and per trade, and the exits at entry are enforced inside the brokerage account you already have. The rules are yours. The afternoon they matter, you will not have to remember them.
Free to start. A two-minute setup quiz builds your rules. Your money stays in your own brokerage account.
Questions people ask
- What is revenge trading?
- Placing a trade to recover a loss rather than because the setup qualifies. It shows up right after a loss, when judgment is at its worst, which is why a rule set in advance works where willpower in the moment does not.
- Is there an app that stops revenge trading?
- JorgAI enforces the rules that break the cycle inside your own brokerage account: a daily loss brake that pauses buying for the rest of the day, caps on new positions and spending per day, a dollar cap per trade, exits attached at entry, and an approval mode that holds every buy until you say yes. The rules are yours; the enforcement is automatic.
- How does a daily loss limit stop revenge trading?
- The urge to make it back needs a next trade. When realized losses reach your Max Daily Loss, no further buys are placed until the next session, so the next trade does not exist until tomorrow.
- Can I override the rules?
- Yes. They are your settings and you can change or pause them at any time. What the software removes is the override that happens by accident, in the heat of a losing afternoon, because the limit has already acted before you reach for it.
- Does this mean I will not lose money?
- No. Losses still happen inside the limits you set; the controls bound a day, a position and an order, they do not predict markets. JorgAI is software, not an investment adviser, and nothing on this page is advice.
- Which brokers does it work with?
- Alpaca, Charles Schwab, Tradier and tastytrade, through each broker's official API. Your money stays in your own account. JorgAI can place trades under your rules; it cannot withdraw or transfer funds.
- Can I try it with simulated money first?
- Yes. Every account can run the same rules against a free brokerage paper account with real market data before connecting a live account.
