Generating a prediction

You can generate an AI prediction for any stock or crypto symbol supported by Alpaca.

How to generate:

1. Navigate to the Predictions page (Alt+P)
2. Enter a stock ticker (e.g., AAPL, TSLA) or crypto pair (e.g., BTC/USD)
3. Select a timeframe: 1 day, 3 days, or 7 days
4. Click "Generate Prediction"
5. Wait a few seconds for the AI to analyze the data

What you'll see:

• Direction (STRONG_BUY, BUY, HOLD, SELL, or STRONG_SELL) with a color-coded badge
• Confidence score (0-100) - higher means the AI is more certain
• Risk level (Low, Medium, High)
• Price target - where the AI expects the price to be at the end of the timeframe
• Reasoning - 2-4 sentence explanation of why the AI made this prediction

Deletion: You can delete predictions you no longer need. Note: deleted predictions still count toward your monthly limit.
