Auto-trader activity feed - what each event means
The "Auto-trader activity" tile on the Dashboard shows a live timeline of what Jorg AI's auto-trader has done for you over the last 24 hours. Refreshes every minute.
Event types you'll see
- Scan - the auto-trader checked a batch of symbols for setups. Most common event, several per hour during market hours.
- Prediction - the AI generated a prediction for a specific symbol with a direction (buy/hold/sell) and confidence score.
- Buy signal - a prediction crossed the threshold to count as actionable.
- Trade placed - the auto-trader actually submitted a buy order to your broker. This is the one that affects your portfolio.
- Skipped - a setup looked good but the auto-trader decided not to trade it (most common reason: you've already hit your daily auto-trade budget - this is by design, not a bug).
- Sell signal / Sold - the auto-trader exited a position based on profit target, stop-loss, trailing stop, or an AI sell recommendation.
- Circuit breaker - your daily loss limit was reached and the auto-trader paused itself for the rest of the day. Resumes at next market open.
- Pre-market / Momentum / News / Discovery / Spike - one of the specialty scanners detected unusual activity and queued the symbol for evaluation.
- Error - something went wrong (rare). If you see these repeatedly, contact support.
Why might the feed look quiet?
- Auto-trading isn't enabled yet - turn it on in Settings → Auto-Trading
- Market is closed and you haven't enabled crypto auto-trading
- Your daily auto-trade budget is exhausted (you'll see "skipped" events with your symbols listed)
- No setups crossed the confidence threshold in the last 24 hours - happens on quiet days
